While Ultrasound technologies have advanced over the years, the ability to interpret those results has not kept pace. Reducing the effects of preterm birth requires early, accurate identification and intervention by providers and patients. To address this need, Preterm AI was developed as a platform that leverages artificial intelligence to identify and analyze characteristics within ultrasound images to guide clinical judgment and treatment of mothers and their babies.
The messaging strategy focused on telling the story of the platform to investors and OEM partners while laying the groundwork to raise awareness within the larger prenatal care community.
To raise operating capital to help bring Preterm AI to market through a FDA 510(k) submission while starting the process of finding suitable OEM partners and, eventually, customers.
After a successful launch, Ultrasound AI positioned itself for the funding and partnership opportunities it needed to reach the next stage in its evolution as a company. Early accolades for the new brand expression resulted in a nomination as an innovation showcase finalist at the Women’s Health Innovation Series Summit in Boston and a win at the Wavemaker Three-Sixty Health investment prize at the Ignite Healthcare Network competition.
